Grilled Cheese & Crab Cake

Crab cake grilled cheese! Seafood party in my mouth. And fried green tomatoes! This place doesn't look like much from the street but it's what on the inside that matters. Just go try it! Great place for a quick and casual lunch or dinner.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Fried green tomato with pimento cheese and bacon on Texas toast. It was amazing. It was pretty busy with limited seating. We were lucky enough to get in right when someone else was leaving so service was quick. Will make sure to visit whenever I'm in the area.

The food was delicious, and the service was top notch. I live in MD so I know what a great Crab Cake tastes like. It was no fillers and seasoned perfectly. Would definitely recommend it and will be going back in the future.

Ordered Fried green tomatoes, fish n chips basket, fried oyster basket and the crab melt was to go. The fish and oysters were extremely good. Had a lot of innards and not just breading. The cajun fries were very nice, we didn't care too much for the onion rings there seemed to be too much batter and not enough onion. The fried green tomatoes were okay, a little sweet for my liking but definitely a lot of tomato under the batter. I also tried the strawberry smoothie which was wonderful, not too sweet and lots of berry flavor. Overall a very nice place with friendly and competent staff. Almost forgot the crab melt. I personally did not like the combination of toppings with the crab but that being said the crab meat was delicious when I ate by itself.

Drove down for a quick lunch after seeing this place on Diners, drive-ins and dives. Did not disappoint. We had the fried green tomato appetizer, breading was crispy and well seasoned. I had the shrimp basket with old bay fries, house made tartar sauce was delicious. Daughter had a grilled cheese and did not waste a bite. Husband had the crab cake grilled cheese which he thoroughly enjoyed by the look on his face while eating it. Only thing I didn't care for was the amount of seasoning on the fries, but I am sure most people love them that way. If you are sensitive to spice would just request light seasoning.
