Captain Benjamin's Calabash Seafood Buffet

Overall, a good experience. I believe the only way this buffet is worth it is if you eat either crab legs or crawdads. Other than that, it’s essentially like any other American buffet with additional shrimp, clam, and fried fish options. Our server, Jessica, was wonderful and on top of it. She consistently checked on us which was great! The music is an odd choice... I really feel like they should change the music. They were playing The Blend on Satellite radio, which doesn’t feel very much like an vibe or atmosphere I would assume they want to go for if they are trying to attract people to the buffet through an experience of seafood. It was also a tad loud. The alcoholic drinks were great and the price was fair.

Crab legs were delicious!! There is a huge selection of foods to pick from. Servers are very pleasant and quickly refill drinks and clear plates. I wish there was a less expensive option for teens that only eat a slice of pizza and dessert. $37 is a lot for that. But if your teen likes seafood it’s a great deal!

The best seafood restaurant ever!!! A huge variety of seafood and other goodies. The food is constantly updated, everything is completely fresh. The atmosphere is unique, friendly greeting of hostesses, pleasant service of waiters. I can say with confidence that we will come to this amazing place again and again. "Captain Benjamin's" was amazing! Everything was so fresh and delicious! When in Myrtle Beach, this is definitely THE place to go! There was no wait and service was wonderful. PS, Dana, our server was so pleasant and very efficient! Top notch! 5 Stars! :)

Super great! We got sat down right away and they got us started with our drinks. (The waitress also told us where everything was.)
The drinks where served quickly and they let us start to get our plates.
Depending on what you eat, you can get your money's worth. For us (5 of us, one a picky eater.) we were pleased with the bill. 4 of us ate at least 1 pound of crab legs, and we were charged with 150 dollars.
Our waitress also refilled our drinks normally, but I can't remember her name. But super kind staff and was pleased with the food.
