Dagwood's Deli

My Caribbean jerk chicken sub was delicious but my mother in law got a tuna melt which came out very plain and tasted very fishy so we sent it back and replaced it with a Italian sub. They were super cool about replacing it but when the sub came out they had mustard all over an ITALIAN sub.. that’s an insult to us Italians. Bumsteads is great though!

Food here is 10/10. Probably one of the bett r options in Myrtle Beach. The onion rings are crunchy and delicious, fantastic meat portioning in sandwiches. This was the first reuben I've ever had that WASN'T dripping in grease. Very refreshing change. Food came out fast and the service friendly. Only downside was parking.

Food was excellent and fast. Very filling. Stay away from the potato salad. It taste like a big bowl of mayo. Not my cup of tea.

Well you have to go into Bumsteads Place or Pub next door to place your food order for carryout or you can eat there.
Tony and I placed our order to go. We were only about 12 blocks from our hotel room.
Ordered the Italian Grinder with potato salad as my side. waiter was very friendly
We got our order in less than 10 minutes and enjoyed our brisk walk back to the oceanfront hotel.
The sandwich was very good. Loved the potato salad. Definitely recommend and definitely would go back again and again!!!!

So, Dagwood's has been a fixture in MB for over 25 years and it never fails to please. The sandwiches are huge and fairly priced and they use a good quality product. They offer a wide variety of subs, wings and other delicious "bar/deli" foods. I've been eating here on and off for years and have never been disappointed. Great staff, friendly service and good food make a winning combination!
