She had the choice of going anywhere she wanted for lunch today to celebrate her 92nd birthday. She wanted to go to Magnolias in MB ‘to get her some fresh vegetables.’ She had seen the TV commercial from her skilled facility but had never been there.
She ate a ton of vegetables, received a birthday celebration cake and song, and got to look at the ocean again. The food was excellent and every server was so doting and friendly to us. Excellent choice Mom!
Great country home cooked food. Several dishes were very close to how my grandmother would have made it. Service was great. My only complaint was the clam chowder was terrible. Management did say they would look into it. I will definitely go back. It is buffet style and priced reasonably.
We are big restaurant people when we travel. We love food. This restaurant will not disappoint-trust me. I am typically not a buffet person but this has
to be the cleanest buffet I’ve ever seen. Food is replaced frequently and all is perfectly cooked. The assortment of cube steak, pork chops, baked and fried chicken, fish and shrimp (as well as others) is sure please all in your party. The vegetables are fresh and delicious and there is a salad and desert bar. My favorite part was the warm peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. I should say “parts” because I had two bowls. April, our server, made sure that we had everything we needed. Overall a fantastic restaurant at a great price.
Well worth. Food is delicious, staff are all sweet, process are the best. Work it hands down. I'm usually never satisfied and this place made me happy. Only a for start cause of space. For a buffet it's hard to get around
Unexpected surprise. Tina Marie was our server. She was wonderful and took the time to share their story. All the produce is fresh from 16,000 acres of farmland nearby. We wanted a quick sandwich but actually ended up ordering their buffet to sample the veggies. We were there Friday evening and their buffet menu changes daily. Everything was so fresh and they were constantly refilling every dish. Fresh Lima beans, corn, collard greens, okra, real mashed potatoes, stewed tomatoes, homemade beef vegetable soup, wax beans, fried shrimp, fried fish, (really good) fried chicken, BBQ chicken, mac n cheese and more. Fresh salad bar with sweet strawberries and blueberries and soft serve ice cream. Their breakfast and brunch sound amazing, as well. Hubby ordered their club sandwich and he actually ordered a second (he really liked it). We'd go back.
