I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Everything about this place is more than perfect. The food. The atmosphere. The service. Olivia served us. She was great with us and everything was more than perfect. Ordered 2 meat platter with pulled pork and brisket. Must try!!!! I tried all their sides and all of them were incredible. I will 100% be back!!! Thank you Pop Pops!!!

This place was definitely off the beaten path for a tourist, but it was well worth the adventure while we were visiting Myrtle Beach. I can't wait to try the piece of bourbon bacon chocolate ganache pecan pie I got to-go. Mac n Cheese is amazing. I had the 3 meat platter... brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken. Everything was ridiculously tasty! My guy had the Legend Burger. Again, fantastic! If you're in Myrtle, make the trip to Pop Pop's!!!

Update: The pecan pie was amazing!! Definitely tasted that bourbon coming through:)

If you're in Myrtle Beach, and want some good quality barbecue food, you must visit pop pop barbecue, you want regret it. The owner Joe is an excellent business owner. His staff is well professional, the establishment is clean. The price us amazing. I well recommend this establishment to my friends and family. Joe keep up the good work, at least the food on my anniversary was excellent.

They're located about 15-20 minutes from the hotels in myrtle beach, and its well worth the trip!

They have the best brisket I've ever had. The bbq sauce is amazing.

The shrimp, fish and fried okra are very good.

Wings are fair.

Pecan pie is amazing.

Service is great. Tammy is awesome!

Best brisket I've had East of the Mississippi. Don't let the location deter you, I was a little nervous before getting my food but we'll definitely go back. The owner is a great guy and the waitress who helped us, Misty, was a pleasant young lady, as well. The music selection was great, too. I got a brisket platter with Mac n cheese and baked potato salad. Wish I had gotten the hand cut fries like hubby did but the potato salad was still good. The mac n cheese was delicious and the brisket was melting in my mouth! So, SO GOOD! One small thing I didn't like was the seasoning that came on both sides. Next time I would ask for them without it.
