    Our family ordered both medium blue crab and king crab and both were steamed to perfection. We are originally from the DMV and got transplanted to LA via the USAF and we were so happy to stumble upon this delicious establishment while on vacation. We wouldn’t have seen it if it didn’t have the Maryland state/flag out front. The owners and their kids are from MD and only east coasters steam it seems like, every where else we’ve been they boil. Yuck! Anyway 5 stars!!!!!!

    Being from Maryland and living in Charlotte limits my ability to get "real" seafood. This place hands down, is as close to home as I can get. Their crabcakes are awesome, and not full of breading like everyone else. The owners are from MD, so rest assured, it's the real deal.

    I wish I could rate Shiver Me Pinchers higher. The steamed blue crabs are the best, the Stella draft is ice cold, and the steamed baby clams in the wine sauce are to die for! If you have never eaten here, put it at the top of your list. The owner puts her heart into her business, and it shows. Thank you for providing us tourist with a remarkable seafood experience!!! You know we are coming back.
