The Barrel Sports Bar & Grill

Super chill and comfortable bar. Our truck broke down in the parking lot while on vacation. The employees were very understanding and offered us free drinks. Definitely a place to stop at while you're in Myrtle! ☺

1st time there... on our way to the airport. Wanted to see the shore and then get some quick eats.
This B+ dive bar of sorts, with great good! A great experience minus the cigarette smoking. The service was good, food very yummy. I recommend the shrimp tacos with dirty rice, hubby had the shrimp po'boy with Cajun fries... all with a cold beer. Left full and ready for the flight home.

Our hotel recommended The Barrel when we said we “just want a casual place for a good burger.”
Our burgers were delicious, service by the owner was friendly & fast. We try to eat at locally owned places. The owner was also kind enough to recommend other locally owned places which we truly appreciated.
We are going back before we leave for the chicken wings!

Food was amazing. It was really dark in the bar though and it felt like a bit of a local bar. No one made us uncomfortable though and we played pool and joked around. There was only one woman working though (bar and all the tables) so it understandably took her a little longer to take care of us.

The burgers..Delicious!! So so good! We visited several times while on vacation and will make a point to go again on our next visit. Not only was the food excellent but service was as well. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner-great lady very personable.
