Babaka's Pizzeria

We stopped in after the 4th of July fireworks; the food was really good and the staff was very friendly. First time we had ate there but we will definitely be back when we go back down to the beach. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

We have three young children, so we visit a lot of pizza places when in Myrtle Beach and this one is by far our favorite! The staff is friendly and efficient. The pizza is amazing!

Quick and prompt service. Pizza was delicious. Family was pleased.

Good takeout pizza. Just okay inside to stay and eat. All got eaten if that means anything.

Generally, I don't expect much eats wise in real tourist heavy areas like Myrtle beach, North Myrtle, Cherry Grove. It's usually more style over substance. So imagine my joy in coming across this pizza joint. Simple, straightforward pizzas built with high quality ingredients, cooked using tried and true basic pizza ovens, then served quickly by a smiling staff. The standout elements of these pies is first the sauce. It is very flavorful classic Italian style red that doesn't make the mistake of trying to reinvent the flavor profile of pizza sauce in an attempt to be different for differents sake. They wisely stay with works, but execute with fresh ingredients and seasonings. The second noteworthy element is the cheese. It is generously applied and wonderfully chewy but not to excess. I like pizza that the three foundational components of pizza (cheese, sauce, and crust) have to work in harmony to yield great results. The pizzas here do just that. The kicker is that it is done at a price point that would compare favorably anywhere so is seen by me as a great value in a resort town. Give them a shot. You be glad you did!!
