“Awesome location!! We look forward to stopping here for lunch after going to Allogator Adventure. My son and I split a gluten-free pizza with vegan cheese and it was delicious! The staff was very friendly and made sure any needs or accommodations we had were properly met. As of this trip the Barefoot Landing location has become our favorite location. “My husband and I ate here for dinner tonight. The food was excellent. We ordered steaks cooked medium and they were actually cooked just right which seems to be hard for some restaurants to accomplish but these were great! The grilled shrimp was great and had awesome flavor to it. I had a Bloody Mary and it was delicious. Our waitress Kadeesia was wonderful and took excellent care of us! The service and the food both were excellent. We love eating here!”

“Went for the crab legs and they did not disappoint! They are brought out to you when requested and then our server was always ready to bring us another plate when we got close to finishing our first plate. The crab legs were served fresh and hot to us. One plate of two legs at a time. They cracked easily and the meat almost always slid out with minimal effort. The other food was good. Oysters, shrimp, and clams were available fried and non fried. The salad bar was pretty good. Spring greens, onions, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, and five different dressings. Had a great experience all around!”

“Large menu large amounts of grease. This is somewhere you go late at night when nothing else is open or when you have the itch for bar food after a day of drinking. Choosing this establishment as a dine in experience at 5:00pm was nearly a miss. The staff was friendly and though they made mistakes along the way, they were quick to remedy things. Many visits from the waitress made my time dining more enjoyable. Fries were smothered in greasy oil, “side of slaw” was embarrassing small but was delicious. Well portioned sandwiches and boring wings. I left full but had an aching stomach for a couple hours due to all the grease. I can see why this is a popular spot. There’s a big menu with some deals and otherwise decent pricing. You can definitely find worse in North Myrtle but there’s also better. Try and find a local favorite rather than this tourist plagued dive bar. C+”

“My first visit to McAlister's Deli. I ordered the French dip. Nice sandwich but took a little longer than expected. I had the mac/cheese as side item-not overly impressed. Sandwich tender but meat needed some seasoning. Very clean & ample parking. Unsweetened iced tea very good but came in what looked like a 1/2 gallon size cup. Will return as several items on menu looked tasty.”
