Cheesesteak Factory

They have an absolutely DELICIOUS fish fry on Fridays. They use a flaky fried haddock, and the fish is huge. The junior size is one giant piece of fish and the regular is two giant pieces of fish. Definitely the best fish fry in the area.

The cheese steaks are also my favorite. They have a wide variety of ingredients to choose from.

The food was very good, but the atmosphere is lacking. You order at the counter and if eating in seat yourself in the attached dining area. They have a self-serve soda fountain station & iced tea.

The kitchen area is located directly behind the counter, so the heat from the kitchen flows out into the dining area. The problem was it felt warm & uncomfortable. Thank God it was a cloudy day. Because of the way the restaurant is laid out, when the doors open the A/C escapes & the heat from the kitchen doesn't help. Also, there are no ceiling fans to circulate the air.

No complaints about the food, though. The prices are comparable to what you would pay for food near the beach.

Three out of five stars because the food. Got the mop (mushrooms, onions and peppers) cheese steak and homemade chips, which were pretty good, but not the best I've had. My family and I (8 of us) walked in 23 minutes before they closed and the girl working the front all but told us to leave because they were closing soon. Each one of us that ordered she told us the current time and how many minutes before they closed. Her attitude SUCKED. She kept making comments about how she had kids that she'd like to get home and see. How she knows we're on vacation but she has her own family she'd like to spend time with. The manager even had an attitude because of us coming in at 6:37. Definitely won't be back. The food ain't worth the attitude you get for free. If people CHOOSING to spend THEIR money at this establishment is such an issue after a certain time, maybe the owner should implement to go only or no orders accepted within 30 minutes of closing.

Decided to try their Friday cod fish fry. We got the "Jr" size and was not disappointed. The fish was lightly beer battered and cooked to perfection. The Cole slaw was delicious also. Fry's were average but good. Would highly recommend trying them out. All the food I have tried here has been delicious.

Extremely friendly and thoughtful staff. I have dietary restrictions that are not the easiest to deal with. They acted like it was not an problem to adjust how they made the items to insure I didn't get sick. The food was wonderful and I will definitely be back.
