Seafood House Calabash Buffet

Great food and a huge variety, even crab legs. The popcorn shrimp, mashed potatoes, hush puppies, and fruit was my favorite. They also had live Mermaids which was a unique experience for a restaurant. The kids loved the Mermaids and they also gave them necklaces. I would recommend. Kids 3 and under eat for free.

Food is good, the waitress was fun, the only issue was that she only checked on us once and never came back. Our drinks were empty almost the whole time, we had to ask another server for drinks and we had to ask someone else for our check because we were done eating for a long time and she never showed. The nice waitress who helped us said that our waitress had an emergency and had to leave but we could see her walking around helping her other tables. Other than service this place was a great new experience :)

This was my first time at The seafood and I must say it was amazing! From the staff to the beautiful mermaids they had swimming in the pool on the inside. My kids love to watch them swim and They even interacted with my kids. The had a wide variety of HOT DELICIOUS food including all you can eat crab legs to choose from. I will definitely return.

Great food, clean, competitively priced. We go here at least once every vacation. The staff and management are very friendly. The food actually has flavor unlike most of the buffets in the area. The steam table is constantly monitored keeping fresh food out at all times. Someone is constantly cleaning, wiping down all food areas. The servers keep the tables clean of dirty dishes, drinks refilled and always asking if you need anything. Over the years this has become our one and only seafood stop in Myrtle Beach. We've been to most in the area, they're either nasty enough they should be shut down, the food is left in the steam tables until crusts develops on it or they just dump new food over the top of old food that has sat for hours leaving dirty pans in the steam table all day, food all over the steam tables, salad bars etc..... You will never see any of that at the seafood house. They have good management that know what it takes to keep people coming back.....

This was our second buffet trip of the week. The first was a horrible, tasteless mess at a different "restaurant".

Seafood house was the exact opposite.

We were there at 4pm sharp. The food was hot. The crab legs were in a STEAM (not water bath). Nancy, our server was wonderful. Polite, engaging, and prompt with drinks, and emptying out basket of shells.

The place is spacious and clean. The buffet line can be reached from both sides which is nice during busy times.

The fish was flavorful and not dry. My son said he popcorn shrimp was good as were the mozzarella sticks were juicy. :)

They had a nice salad selection though we didn't eat any but we did have tasty warm bread and rolls. The bread was good, it tasted freshly made.

If we return to MB we will surely return to Seafood House.
