Blue Ocean Seafood Restaurant

Food was great. I got the Hamburger steak and baked potato Mom got salmon and shrimp and dad got clam chowder(he always gets). We stop very time we travel from Hilton Head. Stuff was very friendly and helpful when i asked to many questions. Clean building. Over all very nice.

Always very good. I've never been there when the food was bad. I couldn't imagining it happening here but I suppose any place could mess something up every now and again. If that happens I'm sure they would correct it immediately.

My family absolutely loves this place. The food is fantastic and the waitresses are superb. They treat us so special every time we go. Can't wait to go back.

Great seafood place. Friendly server. Food portions are very plentiful...had to get "to go" boxes, which I generally don't have to at other seafood places. Reasonably priced. Must have been 50 pickles on the fried pickles appetizer. Even had crab legs on the kids menu. When passing through the area again, we'll stop there to eat again.

Enjoyed by locals, travelers and surrounding towns. Pretty crowded and noisy on Friday night. Great service. Grilled shrimp had some kind of spice not the best I have had there. Catfish are huge, hard, rubbery like precooked and tossed back in to reheat. Super salads.

Some of the best seafood I've eaten! Why not five stars? Two reasons. I guess the first would be "presentation." Although the food tastes wonderful and was way more than one person could ever eat, it was obvious that noodles were placed on the plate, then the seafood, then the sauce. None was actually cooked together nor even folded over. The second, which was the biggest disappointment, was that we got there one hour before closing time. By the time we ordered, got our food and got started eating, they were full blown into the cleaning mode. Stacking chairs, spraying down tables with some cleaning solution, running vacuum cleaners constantly. It not only made us feel rushed, the fumes and noise ruined the whole "dining" experience. I would definitely go back but I'll try getting there a lot earlier.
