Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

Good bang for your buck. Nothing fancy, decent breakfast and only a 10 minute ride to downtown Columbia.

Nice place and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and had fresh towels everyday.

The management explained to me that Econolodge will take a $250 security deposit for just in case damages but you will receive it back when you check out. There is also a new change to this place.. they are only accepting forms of credit card so they can keep it on record ("just in case"?) That's what they said. I kinda believe that the manager on duty was just trying to make up excuses not to take my money or let me rent a room, that has actually had happened twice both managers were men. I used to like this hotel but once they changed the beds for cheap/squkey ones and the German roaches I saw more than once I stopped renting altogether. I was in desperate need of a room tonight but thanks but no thanks!! F-

Surprisingly decent room! For what they call a "two star" hotel I found this hotel to be very nice. Stopped last minute without a reservation on a a road trip, rented two rooms. Both were recently renovated with newer furnishings and flooring and were almost perfectly clean. This was definitely way better than expected. Pet friendly and free breakfast! One room had a jacuzzi tub, a nice touch after a long day of driving. Took the guy about 3 hours to check me in (slight exaggeration), but other than that a great experience!
