Farm Boy's Barbecue

Feels like a picnic. You're about to get cozy with someone you don't know, as you all stuff yourselves full at the buffet. Yeah, go back for thirds at the dessert table- everyone else does! They have vinegar-based and mustard-based pulled pork. I'm told the fried chicken is the best in town.

The barbecue and hash is always delicious. Plus, you can get their calabash wings which are so tasty they will make you slap your Grandmother, and the police would understand why you did it. Everyone is so friendly.

My family has seen the billboard for this restaurant numerous times going back and forth to Newberry and wanted to go for a while. We were in the area recently and stopped for lunch. We got there before the rush but before long the place was packed and busy. The waitresses and staff are extremely sweet and helpful. They checked on us often and gave lots of attention to our little one too!
There's more parking on the backside of the building so don't be thrown off by the front because it is small.
Food selection was decent. The fried chicken is very good and I like the mixed corn and hush puppies. BBQ was okay. I'm bummed they don't have more sauces for the meats and it isn't so mustard based but that's just my preference. The macaroni and cheese could definitely use more cheese. All in all the food is good but I wasn't blown away. Worth a try though because we all have our own styles of country cooking we enjoy.

Not that bad. The smoked turkey is good. Not all that smokey but good. The buffet is a good price. Around $10 with out a drink. The food is just ok for the most part.

That was our first time eating here and it was very enjoyable. The restaurant was extremely clean, the waitresses were very friendly and the food was very good!! When we walked in i felt as if this was my hometown BBQ place. Wonderful atmosphere and we will definitely eat here again!!!
