Koi Asian Fusion Cusine

The people are nice. It’s family run so that’s probably why they can be a little under staffed in a rush. The food is good and it’s nice having a healthy food option in Chapin.

I’ve heard and seen pretty mixed impressions and reviews about this relatively new restaurant in Chapin. After finally deciding to give it a try with me and my girlfriend, I was pretty satisfied. The Summer and Master Koi signature rolls were surprisingly delicious and visually enticing. The Kung Pao Chinese dish was decent, just like your traditional Chinese entree. Despite the lack of servers, ours was friendly and tentative to us and all the other tables she had to cover. Which isn’t a shocker, since they had a hiring sign out. Luckily we went shortly after it opened for dinner hours, but I could imagine it’d be pretty hectic later in the night or during lunchtime; given they’re short staffed and some people might not be as understanding. Overall, the service and food was great! If you aren’t the patient type, i’d wait until they hire additional staff or go during their downtime hours.

Menu is a little pricey but the food is good and service is efficient.

The hibachi is great. Price is kinda high but you can get 2 good meals out of the hibachi plates so I don't complain. Great place.
