Cafe Strudel Lexington

First time there for My daughters College Graduation...2019 graduating class of University of South carolina...woohoo. Very busy. Nice homey place. Waitress was very nice.. Owner came by to apologize for food taking a little longer than normal...appreciated that.

Great lunch! Waitress was very friendly, informative and thoughtful! Food was delicious! Open nights for dinner too except Monday and Tuesday.

Had a nice family dinner while meeting new family members. We never felt rushed by the staff. I got the Portobello Mushroom Burger with duck fat fries. My husband got the stuffed burger , the kids happily got pancakes and Mac and cheese. Everything was really really tasty. I was very impressed with their menu, and I will go back to try it all! It wasn't too greasy and salty and I didn't feel " weighed down" after eating. We also got the cheese Strudel to split and let me tell you!! I'm not a big sweets person but it was scrumptious. The place was well lit, they have an outdoor area /bar , good lively music playing over speakers( not too loud), and the staff was very personable and friendly. Happy to have found the place.

Food great, grits, wow. Inside atmosphere lively & bright. Hope there are plans to soon improve the parking lot/sidewalk. It was especially messy after the rain. Four stars until access improves.

When entering the parking lot, drive behind the building to the north side entrance. It was raining the day we went and the parking lot was pretty sloppy because they have it covered with mulch. The food was good and the menu selection was good. Server was friendly, but we never saw her after the food was delivered. And that took awhile even though the place was not busy when we went at 1:30 pm. So I can't say I loved it.
