Dairy Dream Drive In

One of the best double cheeseburgers I've ever eaten!!!

We found this place by luck. The owner offered custom food options for us including a vegan pita and grilled shrimp over salad or rice. They had the best fried okra I've ever had. The salad was perfect - fresh crisp and with a wonderful blend of Iceburg, purple cabbage, carrots and finely chopped broccoli. The green beans were healthy and very fresh. The fried chicken and fried shrimp were fresh and lightly hand battered. Every aspect of this meal was perfect. The clientele were friendly and the facility pristine. Furthermore, our family accidentally left a cherished toy in the parking lot and the Dairy Dream Mailed it back to us at our home-town. If anyone is passing anywhere close by you should visit this 60 plus year running establishment. the only problem now is we will have to make sure to pass through Benettsville most every time we visit the ocean.

First name basis small town type place with burgers, dogs, gyros, sandwiches, salads, some fried seafood. Had the shrimp and fish combo, it was ight...they of course have fresh made milkshakes and soft serve too and some daily specials...if I make it back thru the area I'd stop in and probably try the steak and cheese combo ????

Great food and friendly, quick service at a good price. Clean, nicely decorated building with plenty of seating both inside and outside. Plenty of free parking with easy access and exit to the street.
