Michelle’s is a diamond in McCormick! The service was personable and attentive. For a small family-owned business, it can keep up with large chains when it comes to service and second-to-none food quality. The crust was the best recipe I have ever eaten, and that is compared to Austria, Germany and various east coast locales. The Calzones are very special with just enough filling to crust ratio one would expect from an expert in the kitchen. The building isn’t new, but it adds to its charm. It also proves that looks do not always matter when it comes to restaurants. One of the most amazing things, and I am bias, is they had toys for tots set up right in front for anyone in the area to donate. I will definitely be back for the food, and I didn’t even get and chance to enjoy the bar. If you go to McCormick, eat here.
I really liked the outdoor patio. I had 2 Margaritas which were fantastic even if they don't carry a variety them tried to make them close to what I drink. They try very hard to make sure the customer is happy. My food was really good which I only ordered a cheese steak sub n fries. The special was fish and it was sold out by 4 pm. This place hops after 5 and the outside patio, the bar area and the dining room was packed. I'm will try to visit next week and try another dish to let everyone know if the food is a 4 or 5. Handicap accessible parking. Handicap entrance and dining area. Prices are good for being out in the country. It's approximately 20 miles to Abbeville and Greenwood the closest big communities around. I liked the people being so very friendly and enjoyed meeting and talking to so many.
Most staff had masks. Get out and take a trip to the country's little town restaurant where you will find fun, laughter and great food.
The food was good and the service was excellent. It came highly recommended and I can say I was not disappointed. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with hand cut fries. It all tasted great.
Michelle's is a working persons restaurant located just a short block off of Hwy 378 in McCormick, SC. It is definitely a plain pipe rack kind of a place. We ate there in the heart of the noon lunch hour. Consequently, it was noisy and busy. Despite that service was timely. If you want good, solid food, go there. If you want fancy, find another venue. While they have a large and varied menu, I chose their small stromboli. It was not only delicious but huge. I ate half there and had supper at home last night. I got full both times. I'm definitely going back.
Service was a little slow, but the food was great. We waited for someone to serve us for about 10 minutes and finally had to go to the counter to order. My wife got barbecued chicken and said it was the best she'd ever had. The French fries were the best I've had in
a very long time. We'll definitely go back again.
