    Absolutely recommend staying at the Dove. Beautiful surroundings, fantastic people, amazing owner, and great spots. There are lots of activities and the local area is easy to navigate. Charlie and Melissa are amazing hosts.

    I’ve been camping all my life in tents and RVs. Lonesome Dove is truly an amazing place for not only the atmosphere but the friendly and helpful attentiveness from Charlie and Melissa. Great place for kids and pets to enjoy the safe environment. Highly recommend!!

    After visiting eight camper and RV parks in the area I knew this was the place for our camper. I needed 50-amp service and long-term rental on short notice. The owner, Charlie Green, took my call and was more than accommodating. I had never set up a large camper (39ft) and he came out and met us to help with the setup. This is a quiet, family-oriented camper and RV park that also has a group tent camping area. The property is landscaped and well maintained. Each RV spot has a gravel base for easy setup and there is enough parking for towing vehicles. Ice and Propane are both available on site. There is a drink machine and access to a washer and dryer upon request. - Charles

    This is a great community with many friendly people. They invited me and my wife in and we love being at the campground. Lots of laughs. The campground is very clean and family friendly. Being that it is still new Charlie has been hard at work expanding and bringing even more perks to the community. We are excited to see and enjoy the new amenities to come!
