Had a great lunch today,the Beef tips and rice were hot,tasty and filling,always good to sit and see folks from the community,great job!

Are you kidding me a hand patties hamburger. the food was excellent. The service was off the charts and I will be going back a bunch.

This is a nice hometown restaurant that has a great breakfast menu, I've yet to eat here at lunch but selection is vast and varied. The wait staff is friendly and your drink is always filled. My wife and daughter had the tenderloin and egg biscuit, large enough for them to split. I had the farmer's special with sausage and grits, the grits could have had a little more salt but the consistency was great.

In the mood for down-home cooking in a friendly, farmy atmosphere? This is it, just a hop-and-skip off Hwy 24 towards Fair Play. Hard-working men lunch here.

The sweet tea is very sweet, and tea refills come steady. We all had the fried fish "meat and two," with a crunchy, flavorful coating on the fish.

This was my first visit, and I'm giving three stars here for three reasons: the green beans were overdone and didn't taste like beans; the cornbread was dry and room temp; and the Land O'Lakes packet was a "butter spread product" instead of butter. (The product tastes less like butter and more like chemicals that belong in the tractor store next door.)

On the other hand, the hamburgers looked terrific, and I've heard great things about the breakfasts!

I'll visit again sometime and try a burger or breakfast and report back!
