Fatz (Orangeburg)

I live in Charleston, SC but travel to Aiken, SC weekly for business. This was the first time I stopped into Fatz in Orangeburg but this is what I can tell you......

The Happy Hour “ALL DAY” Sign caught my eye, yes “ALL DAY” The food was really good but the hospitality and service was spectacular. The bar tender / manager - Patrick (Pat) was first class. He took care of my fiancée and I and entertained us the whole time we were there. Veteran employee Rochelle was also top notch. Just loved the service and friendliness. I travel a lot and this was just an awesome experience.

Little Secret:

The Code Word to get Pat Serving you is to ask for “The Great One” because that’s who he is. The bloke definitely delivers.

Excellent service on my to Go order. My server/waiter/cashier on to go tonight was on top of his game! Very attentive! Food was also great.

We were seated quickly but it took a bit for the waitress to come by. When she did I ordered a sweet tea and my husband ordered something from the bar as well as an appetizer. The appetizer came before his drink did and they weren't busy. It took nearly 20 minutes. The shrimp and chicken and ribs were awesome. The fried green tomatoes were perfect. The baked potato soup was peculiar and had an odd texture. I wouldn't recommend it. My husband loved the Vidalia onion coleslaw. The service wasn't very good here especially since they weren't busy. Bottom line is decent food, hearty portions at Good prices but poor service
