“This restaurant opened about 9 months ago. A went on a Sunday afternoon, I was very worried that the church people would cause me to have to wait. After about 15 minutes my guest and I was seated. The owners were there this is a mom and pop ran business ,owners were very hands on. The food was outstanding. The service was great. The buffet was stocked well. About $15.00 per person. Not bad. I will be back. I do recommend this Restaurant.”

If nothing else Santee has a legitimate option for something other than reserved for Bucked Visitors (Captains Quarters comes to mind) or the Motel 6 traveler, including the fine locals. Not for every night but a nice change of pace meal 2 or so nights a week.”

“I'm a huge BBQ fan and prefer the red sauces. However Maurice's does a great job with the yellow sauces including a variety of flavors. The fried okra was perfect and their coleslaw was excellent. The pulled pork was moist and flavorful. The beef brisket was super tender and juicy. If we come back through this town we will eat here again.”
