Monterrey of Clemson

We love going here when we're visiting our son who has an apartment near Clemson. He just graduated, so we probably won't be going again anytime soon.

Absolutely love to dine at this restaurant when visiting Clemson. The service is quick, staff is friendly, and food is bursting with flavor.

The ambience is perfect bar scene and perfect for watching games. The manager, Ricardo, is always funny and friendly.

Favorite thing to order is carne asada tacos. They always taste fresh.

Great street tacos! The carnitas were very flavorful. Corn tortillas were awesome. Friendly service and the restaurant was clean. The only con was the rice was dry and lacked flavor. We will definitely be back!

Every time I go to Monterrey's it has been delicious. The staff are very friendly. The margarita's are amazing as well!

I've eaten here a number of times now, and had somewhat hit-or-miss meals. In particular, I was not a fan of the beef burritos, however I loved the chicken burritos. Other than the entrees, the dessert here was amazing (deep fried ice cream!), and the staff were all very kind and attentive. Also, this place has very good salsa and chips. Overall, not perfect, but definitely one of, if not the, best Mexican food restaurant near campus.
