Friendly staff. Good service. Hearty food. Less rice and beans, more cilantro and onion.
We very much enjoyed the guacamole and quesabirrias. We will be returning again.

Excellent fresh food, plenty of outside seating: while there saw people walking in the street recognizing friends and spontaneously joining them for lunch. The food is Mexico City style (cilantro and onion on the tacos), not so much the standardized Americanized Mexican food you might be used to (they don’t start with chips and salsa brought to the table). If you want that experience I also highly recommend Pancho’s a few doors down. Had the quesobirrias and tacos which were excellent. Carnitas were great, next time will probably venture for some lengua (beef tongue).

What a great place! Excellent food. Definitely get the guacamole and quesabirrias! Service wonderful and personal. Orders sent to the kitchen via tablet as you order, pay at table with hand held. Beautiful outdoor seating areas, firepit, and bandstand. Do not skip this new gem in Central, SC.
