ITSURWIENER Restaurant and Bar

ITSURWIENER is a weird restaurant, split into the restaurant section and the bar section. I can't attest to the latter, but the way the restaurant works is as follows: you order what you want at the counter (I got two hot dogs) and when they are ready, you go to a second area where you can see all the toppings - think Subway or Moe's. The gimmick is that there are a ton of different (and unusual) toppings you can get. One notable topping is apple sauce (???). The hot dogs themselves were pretty good, and didn't taste or feel boiled, like at Skins. I was really disappointed by the mac-and-cheese I got on one of my hot dogs. It was kind of mealy and didn't really taste like any mac and cheese I've ever enjoyed. The space is huge, which makes it really noticeable when it's empty, which was the case for both of my visits. I really want to like ITSURWIENER, as hot dogs are one of my favorite foods, but I can't give it anything better than a 3/5. It's okay, but the massive empty space and overabundance of unnecessary toppings are kind of a bummer.

I was on a vegetarian diet for six months last year from April 13th to October 13th... On that glorious October day, I said screw it and went to ITSURWIENER with some friends from work. It was the first meat I had in half a year, and good lord, was it worth it. Two of the best dogs I've probably ever had lol The amount of toppings/variety of things to choose from blew my mind. The store itself looks amazing too with an awesome atmosphere. Not to mention the bar, indoor games, and outside sitting areas. I really hope this business does well.

I must say Itsurweiner has really outdone any hotdog place within 2000 miles. Great
