La Veracruzana Mexican Restaurant

Think I just ate at the best Mexican restaurant in Clemson but am deferring on giving it 5 stars until
I've eaten there at least twice. Burrito was very good and had to get a to go box as couldn't finish it all.
The salsa bar is definitely the best in town as I believe I've eatan at all the Mexican spots around.
The only downshot I see as since it's relatively new there was only one guy taking the orders deli style and
taking the payment then cooking it to order as there apparently aren't any waiters. If more positive reviews
and word of mouth advertising makes his business pick up I hope he'll have some extra hand(s) to help during the
crunch hours.

The food was delicious, but the portion size for the money was lacking for most menu items, and for a restaurant without table service, it's not worth it to me. Great for a quick bite to eat if you happen to be nearby though.

Great service. Chicken Enchiladas are fire and margs will get you right.

My friend and I had takeout there today. He had the steak tacos plain and I had the grilled chicken tacos. We shared a side of beans and rice.
We both liked it, the food was good and good portions for the price. We didn't have a chance to sample the pico de gallo, because they forgot to add it to the side of his steak tacos, but the mild salsa and the diablo were both very good. We found that the guacamole was slightly acidic tasting, possibly because of the salsa they added to it. My friend said it tasted as though it were a day old, but it looked very fresh.
The tacos are all dressed differently based on the meat choice, so don't assume you will have the standard lettuce, tomato, and cheese.
This is the day before the grand opening, so I know they will iron out the tiny details.
We will definitely go back again!

I got the steak fajitas and they were mad good. Tender steak and caramelized onions. Came out fast with no hitch.
