Loved it. Order the chicken and shrimp combo hibachi. Enjoyed seeing my food cooked in front of me. Wonderful service.
Overall quality of the food here isn't on par with some other Hibachi & Sushi restaurants. Price overall is a positive for this location. Sushi was served somewhat lukewarm, and a bit on the small side.
Great food and Great service! The sushi rolls were a tad smaller than other places we go, but they cost less too. Ashleigh was a great server, very friendly and attentive. So glad to have a good sushi restaurant nearby without having to drive into Greenville.
Me and my wife's first experience with Dozo was great. Our chef over the grill was Mike. I ordered the Salmon with Honey Whiskey Habachi and my wife ordered the Shrimp Habachi and she had the Honey Whiskey on her shrimp as well. The food and service was wonderful.
We got to the restaurant and was greeted by the staff. We place our orders as usual. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken and a Spicy tuna roll. The Tuna roll was good. The Hibachi chicken came with Soup and Salad. I got the Salad with the house ginger dressing and surprisingly the food came out extremely fast. Kudos for the quick service.
Now to the negatives:
The Salad that came out was Iceberg lettuce that was very wet and the salad was overly dressed with the Ginger dressing. I was able to dump enough liquid out of the salad to fill the bottom of the entire sushi tray. As I consumed my Hibachi, which was delicious but very soupy as well, the salad bowl filled up with more liquid. Instead of cheap iceberg lettuce perhap they will think to change to a Romaine lettuce.
Ultimately, it wasn’t bad. A little overpriced for the quality but overall decent. The star was the white sauce. It was a little on the sweet side but amazing.
