Fatz Southern Kitchen

Went here for my wife's birthday. They were shorthanded our server was not well trained. I believe he was back up because of a lot of call outs from the Mother's Day brunch. But all in all the food was good. We will always go to this restaurant because it's fast and this is the first time that we had not so good service. But out of all the times we've been there this would never stop me from going.

Food was really good, albeit a bit tough and chewy, but once it got going it was wonderful. The bread rolls and butter are amazing. Staff was extremely polite and ready to help, highly recommend the Center Cut Top Sirloin.

Ordered fish and chips. The fish didn't have much flavor and was a bit greasy. The slaw had an unique tast that I enjoyed and the fries were good. The waitress should have made a better effort to keep our drinks full. She was too busy laughing and talking with her friends at the table next to us.

I'm giving it 4 stars only because our server, Alex, was absolutely wonderful! Although the restaurant was all but deserted, it took forever for our food to come out...and when it did finally come out, the order was incorrect; it took 4 tries before it was finally recooked and corrected. The food, when corrected, was actually good. The overall experience was made tolerable because our server wanted to make sure we were happy. If you visit this location, be sure to ask for Alex, she is exceptional.
