Excellent salad and half a chic.salad sandwich. Restaurant clean, comfortable and staff very nice!
The manager was particularly helpful and nice, offering to extend my yummy vanilla coffee by bringing an extra cup w ice for me. And the (female)cashier and "float dude" were very nice/pleasant too and it was neat seeing how they interacted with their supervisor, all very chill and relaxed. A very nice change.
The food is good but it's just not good enough for the prices here. They cook the majority of the food in an air fryer too so I just can't get past spending close to $18 for a sandwich, soup, and drink. The broccoli cheddar soup is good ????.
I want to like Panera, I really do. It's a nice alternative to fast food and the dining area is comfortable enough to sit a while and relax. However, today I spent $12 for a toasted cheese and bacon sandwich, potato chips, and a drink. I think Waffle House does a better job at a fraction of the cost. From now on when I feel like splurging, I will stick with the salads, which are quite tasty if also over priced, and the high caloric but yummy baked goods.
