(May 5, 2019, 10:58 pm)Had never been to Pickens SC. Stopped at an antique store and while talking to the owner my wife asked for a recommendation for lunch. He suggested the Gatehouse! Very good food, very friendly service and don't leave without having dessert! ????

(March 19, 2019, 12:35 am)The food was pretty good. But it was late getting to the table. The steak was warm at best. The baked potato wasn't even hot enough to melt butter anymore.

(February 15, 2019, 3:20 pm)Quick and clean. Good service. The menu looks great but the food is okay. Would go again for lunch but it's not a fancy fine dining experience. It could be with a little more effort.
