“I would have given it 4 stars, but the way they do things, makes no sense. You wait in line to pay. Then you wait for your food, to go to the bar for topping. This means you can wait in line to pay and to receive your food, for 30-45 min. Without a huge crowd. For $13.00 just put the burgers on the burger bar. Also the buns were way bigger than the burger. Get a ⁰smaller bun, or make a bigger burger. Chips brought to the table were great, staff was really nice. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the ice cream.”

“This is the best mom and pop restaurant in the Pickens area and the prices are low. So, if your kids say Micky D's or one of the other joints who make your food with "almost" child labor, go to this place. They have the best onion rings and the rest of the food is fresh off the grill made by an adult. The waitress was also great as well! The atmosphere is friendly and not too busy.”

“Local gem!! It's off the beaten path a little, but if you happen to be passing through this area and wonder if driving a little out of the way to try it is worth it? It is. I had a bacon cheeseburger plate which came with slaw, the sweet kind which I'm not a big fan of, and a huge serving of crinkle cut fries. The burger was a great big fresh beef homemade kind; the kind that needs a bunch of napkins, with two slices of bacon. $8 for the plate which ain't bad!”

“Quaint little place. They have a couple pool tables and outdoor seating. They had a band Fri. They staff was friendly and their menu had a descent selection. I ordered the Reuben w fries and it was the best Reuben I've had in the south. Super tender and melt in your mouth. The steak fries were a bit overcooked and when I asked for ketchup got a little plastic cup with about 1 tablespoon of ketchup in it. The server set it down and left before I could ask for more. But otherwise, great place to go. They even had Yeungling on tap. ;)”

“One of my favorite Pizza Places in the Upstate of South Carolina. I like their pizza crust (big deal for me). It is thin and chewy, but supports the toppings just fine. My go to pizza is Italian Sausage and Mushroom. It never disappoints. I also like their pepperoni pizza. I appreciate their size selection. In the one picture I posted, you can see they have a very large pizza option which is great when you have a big group. The taste of their bread knots and stuffed mushrooms is excellent. The ambience of the old brick building is warm and inviting although it can be a bit drafting in the large dining room space during the winter.”

“Small family operated restaurant, with good food. Like most small establishments, its not real fancy, but it is clean. Staff is very friendly, and eager to please customers. The food is very tasty and has good proportions for the price. The wait is moderate for the shrimp due to having to wait for it to be cooked for each order. Other orders are quit quick. During my dinning experience, I overheard another customer whom had an issue. The lady behind the counter apologized and insured the customer that they were a valued customer and corrected the issue.”
