Lizard's Thicket Restaurant

Best restaurant to eat at as long as Vivian is working. Every time she isn't our server it is a miserable experience. If I could separate call in orders that would get a 1 star from me. Worst thing ever to do! They can't separate the food properly and my candies yams always runs into my non sweet food! It is the most infuriating thing ever!

One of the best country cooking restaurants that we have eaten at. The wait staff was great. Highly recommend this place.

We have had the same waitress three or four times I'm sorry I don't know her name but she is an excellent waitress. She displays patience. Especially when my 81 year-old mother comes in and ask her for 15 different things we were there today around 11 to 12 she is excellent Superior she made everything is perfect for us and she had a smile. She needs a raise you don't want to lose anybody like that the food was excellent our hats off to the chef

Planned our anniversary getaway around this restaurant. Discovered it while passing through Columbia on our honeymoon 6 yrs ago. Always eat here when we are in the area. Live 2 hours away. Searched for a b&b near lizard's thicket to celebrate this year. :-) Will eat there 3 times on our one-night stay. Tonight had the black eyed pea soup, mashed potatoes, and kale salad. Delicious! Recommend the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Love the fried Chicken. Not a fan of their bread or corn bread, and it is very noisy near the kitchen with plates clanging, so be warned on seating. Otherwise, we love it, and always have great service.
