Liberty Tap Room

Throughout my four years at USC, I've never had a bad experience at Liberty. It's one of my favorite places to go to for a nicer, high-quality meal that doesn't break the bank. You can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches.

Thought the food was very good. 4 at our table, 4 different entrees, all good! Great beer selection. Sometimes too many choices! It was a bit loud to carry on an across the table conversation, but we made do. Staff was nice, service prompt without rushing you out. Plenty of TVs for those who watch sports etc.

best place with amazing food, all of the employees are incredibly nice. family oriented and friendly environment! very clean and well run restaurant! buffet is the bomb, don’t miss out!

Great waiter (William), very attentive. Food was very good. The pretzel appetizer was wonderful! Pizza are very good too. Sat in the bar area. Not too loud and great mix of folks-collegians, professionals after 5 and folks downtown for shows, concerts and sports. Will go back.

A must try when in Columbia. They have the best she crab soup I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my share being from Charleston. Ordered the fish and chips for dinner and it did not disappoint. The fish was hot and crispy, perfectly seasoned, and flaky. The coleslaw paired perfectly with it and the tartar sauce was to die for. The waiter was new, but so sweet and accommodating even though there was a bit of a wait. Will definitely be back!
