Cook Out

I don't eat here often, because I'm 41 and I'd be a thousand pounds if I did. But, when I do it's worth it. Their shakes are off the chain - banana fudge is my jam. Fast, easy, delicious. I recommend the drive-thru, though. It can get a lil rowdy in the dining room - taking normal fast food clientele into consideration.

Great fast food and delicious milkshakes. You get a good amount of food for the price. Make sure you're hungry when you go!

The first and only sit down cook out I've been to. The staff was nice. The only issue I had was the hush puppies tasted a little cold. But they were still good.

The Cook Out is the best place in Columbia to grab something to eat! Their food is very high quality and all their meat is cooked on a grill, not fried!! Their staff is very friendly and courteous, and I love Michelle!! So, if you're tired of the same old same old, give them a try, you'll be glad you did!! I've been eating at this restaurant ever since it opened in 5 Points and would recommend it to anyone!!

The food here is so delicious and the prices are unbeatable. Even when I would show up with 8 friends the wait time was faster than "Fast Cardboard Food" places. The seating was always enough with booths and tables.
The staff was always very friendly even to the customers who waited till the front of the line to figure out what they wanted. Oh yes and the food is so tasty.
I will never forget watching the apple pie shake being made. The staff took 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and put them in the blender. Then a large slice of beautiful apple pie was selected and it went into the blender. Next was some milk and then 30 seconds later a shake was in front of my friend. That is how you make a real shake !!!
