Boy let me tell you! As a Texan. I wholeheartedly approve of this southern soul food cooken. First time ever visiting SC and this place was the first place we chose to stop in and have dinner. And we were not dissatisfied! Brandy is an amazing server. She was fast, attentive and sociable:) she got us fed and full and we left with smiles on our faces. We’re here for a couple of more days and when we do come back before heading home, I pray Brandy is working and we sit in her section!!!! By the way... I had fried chicken, fried okra, collard greens and candied yams. It was delicious. Makes me miss Dallas:)

Food was good... not great. I had the meat and three - fried chicken, fried squash, mashed potatoes and squash casserole. Chicken was good. Squash casserole was good. Service was good. Everything else was ok. The price was a little high.

No frills tasty Southern cuisine. Breakfast was awesome. Wife loved the chicken fried steak and eggs. No complaints here! Good service and prices.

Good home cooking away from home! Great staff, great food!!! For the Liver Lovers Tuesdays chicken & Thursdays Liver and onions!!! Atmosphere is warm!!! You're definitely not a stranger here! Oh and to name a few Mr. David, Alexis, Ms. Lisa, and Mrs. Heather and the rest of the staff @ the Nates Road location, I truly thank you for always making My Experience here great!!!

Our family ate here since it was close to our motel and convenient. Prices were very good and you get a lot for the money. Some in our party were pleased with the food and some weren't. Have to consider there were younger more picky people with our group. My wife and I were pleased with the large selection and prices. I liked the prices most, since the meals were my treat.
