    The food here is delicious but it can run a little pricey. Love the sauce!

    Whatever you think about the late Maurice Bessinger, his family still makes excellent BBQ with the Carolina Gold mustard based sauce.

    The Maurice's chain makes a good place to stop on your way through South Carolina. The 'small' chicken sandwiches are entirely adequate for a small person like me, and the basket of fries, hush puppies, and slaw, is big enough to share. The Banana pudding is a bit plane, but huge.

    If you're just passing through, pick up a bottle of their yellow BBQ sauce. I use it for everything from actual barbeque to a mustard replacement.
