The food is AMAZING , however, I give 3 stars because of customer service :( . How you approach your customers as well as your tone matters. In the past I've visited the restaurant several times and have always been patient and polite. There are a few workers there who are quite polite and courteous but I suppose it always that one or two people that ruin the overall experience.
I got the artichicken salad, it was very delicious. The restaurant has a super unique feel and the owner/chef was really nice. Will definitely go back.
My 1st visit was over a year ago and because the waitress or owner was so rude we left. Jump forward to 4/12/19... someone let me taste the food and I was thoroughly impressed and decided to place an order. Well it took well over 2hrs for my food to be prepared. The young lady at the counter was super sweet and apologetic. Now needless to say the owner needs some help in the kitchen. The place is beautiful and the setting is very relaxing. However, it appears that the owner can't keep cooks. This is a clear sign that she may need to take some time to explore her the reasons why and be honest with herself. Business is business I get it, but nobody should have to wait extremely long for their food. There was a class going on also during the restaurants hours which maybe no to go orders should be taken since she does offer classes certain days. Just a suggestion to alleviate confusion and frustration from new customers or returning customers... have a cut off time for orders. The food was great... I'll consider going back and maybe ordering earlier in the day.
I almost couldn’t find this place. Make sure you go to the back of the building in the corner. If cars are parked in front it can be easy to miss. I’m glad AMI did make it though because it’s a rare gem for a plant based dieter like myself.
The menu features lots of raw delicious plant based dishes and I wish I am could have tried them all. I ended up going with the lentil burger and I got to tell you it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The salad was very fresh and good as well.
The atmosphere isn’t really my style but it’s a cool experience. The music was a little too loud in my opinion. I was a little surprised to see they serve plastic ware at sit down restaurant. It’s a little difficult to eat a salad with only a plastic fork. Those are just very minor set backs. The food was amazing l, the staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back.
Oh my GOD! I LOVE THIS FREAKING RESTAURANT! Every chance we get, we're eating here! Everything we've had from the menu has been SO GOOD! My first dining experience here was the determining factor as to whether or not I would fully transition to vegan and since then I have! I was honored to meet Chef Saa and Sandra and they are absolutely wonderful women!
