I was so excited to visit this place as an out of town guest. The service was not the best and the descriptions of the desserts was not very clear. I ordered a pecan bar and got a very amaretto, pecan bar. I do not like amaretto...

Great atmosphere and good service. Shrimp and grits is my go-to dish and I was a little disappointed. There was no sausage in my dish, and I had to add a lot of salt to it (which is rare for me). The grits were super creamy which was awesome, but the dish all together was kind of bland.

Our server was quick and very friendly, the dining area and restroom were clean. My mimosa was perfect, and coffee was great. I plan on going back when I'm in the area and cannot wait to try the French Toast. Will update my review then.

My daughter suggested this place for dessert. I had a piece of coconut cake with a small glass of mimosa. I have to say it was delicious. The atmosphere was tranquil and very hospitable. The staff was very helpful in recommending we try different cakes. That was a great idea,we got to try something different and enjoyed every bite. I would recommend Nonnah's to those who want a quiet and peaceful end to their night. Great place.

Our son and his fiance were married New Year's Eve in the Planetarium at the State Museum. We had the Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Cocktail Party at Nonnah's the evening before. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience from start to finish. Maggie, the General Manager, was awesome and guided me throughout the process in choosing the menu for dinner and the appetizers for the Welcome Cocktail Party. Her help was invaluable!!!! Our bartenders and servers were totally awesome as well! Now to the food -- The food was FABULOUS! Best Shrimp and Grits I think I've ever had! Those who had the Pork Chop and the Vegetarian dish also raved about their food. And the desserts -- Well, they are the best!!

The atmosphere was absolutely perfect! We dined in the "twinkly lights room" and moved to the Bar area for the Welcome Cocktail Party. It was a magical evening, and we could not have been more pleased with the entire Nonnah's experience!!!!!

Would highly recommend having your event there. Maggie "knows her stuff" and everything was so beautiful, and she was so accommodating!!
