This was my first time going to this restaurant . I heard a lot about them. The parking was confusing because gps brings u to the front door u have to register then park which was cool. The atmosphere is amazing . Online it’s states open till 12 am i got there about 9 and was advised on Thursday they close at 9:30. So i wasn’t able to sit at a table but was offered to sit at the bar. The ambience was so nice. I ordered spring vegetable rolls which were amazing . I then ordered hibachi chikken entree. The meal overall was great rich in flavor. Vegetables were great and portion size was great. I will definitely go back to try something else on the menu. The prices were good as-well i paid 33.00. Can wait to return
Wonderful experience. I am glad we finally have a new hibachi place to visit. Food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. My wife loved it so much that she wants to have her birthday party here next year. I did not get a picture of our main course because I was eating before I remembered. I will update pictures on my next visit. The only issue I have is that the location (GPS) shows and brings you to a building on another street, which I was lost for a min. So no one else goes through this, go through "Main Course Restaurant"on Main Street, and Hansbi is on the backside of the building. I suggest they put a sign for the restaurant on Main Street so it's easier to find. Once you find the restaurant, you will be happy you did!
Amazing experience! I have been a long time supporter of many things on Main Street since I moved here. I remember when this space used to be used for open mic but now it's completely transformed! THIS is what downtown was needing. Upscale , intimate and beautiful ambiance. The alley you walk down to get here gives you all those city vibes we crave with date night or a night out with the girls. Jordan our server and Larry our chef made sure we were taken care of from the moment we sat down. One of our friends has a shellfish allergy so Larry cooked the shrimp on a whole other grill. It's things like that, that make places like this one of a kind. I really loved the variety of sauces they offer as well. More than any hibachi I have ever been to. Hands down the best addition to downtown Columbia this year. Can't wait to have more date nights and girls nights here.
Last night my server was Larry. Larry made sure he accommodated my shellfish allergy by prepping my food first. This was much appreciated. The waiting staff was patient and kind. They were also knowledgeable on the variety of sauces and cocktails. There quite a few sauces to choice from unlike the traditional ginger or yum yum. Our food was delivered fast along enough entertainment to keep us smiling through the night. We had a great dinner experience and will return.
Very nice restaurant with very pleasant aesthetic. They have full hibachi tables with the chef show, normal dining, and a full bar. The service staff was very kind and attentive. My wife and I split the "pick three" ribeye, chicken, and shrimp and it was plenty for the two of us. The atmosphere and food make for a really nice experience for anyone looking for a casual, but elegant, date night.
The restaurant is on main street down the alleyway next to Good Life Cafe.
