Hendrix is such a great place. It's very cozy and very nicely set up. The menu is delicious and so are the cocktails. My date and I stuck with the tapas menu and got the gnocchi, carnitas tacos, pork belly, and the flash fried oysters. All dishes were very tasty. The shining star were the gnocchi. OMG they were so good! Definitely get 'em. The rooftop is also very cool.
Had a reservation for 8:00, arrived on time and had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Other patrons left when they didn't get seated. Our server was great! Fried oyster appetizer was yummy! I ordered the special, a bone-in short rib with potato hash and puree. Short rib was delicious, the sides had so much salt they were inedible. My husband had the fish special, was told it was snapper. After he ordered it our server came out to say it was now grouper. He enjoyed it, nicely cooked and sides were tasty. Some tables are close together in the middle of the restaurant. Not a lot of seating so obviously be prepared to wait, even with a reservation.
My husband and I stumbled upon Hendrix for our date night, and I’m so glad we did! Such a cozy and laid back atmosphere. Our waiter, Blaine, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, fresh and full of flavor. I absolutely recommend their Autumn Salad that’s being offered at the moment. We will be back.
Perfect spot for rooftop cocktails and a view of the sunset! They even had live music (who was amazing!) On a Wednesday night. The tapas we're all delicious.
The atmosphere was modern and nice. Service was excellent. We had the cheese plate- a good choice. My wife liked her eggplant dish and the duck breast was cooked to perfection. Did I mention that the old fashion was tasty? Would come again. A rare gem in Columbia
