Tasty wings & seafood

We used to drive to Forest Drive for wings and fries. NO MORE! I waited to review this joint until we had eaten here multiple times. Always hot always good!!! We have tried several flavors of wings, fries, onion rings, fish and shrimp, hush puppies…. We weren’t in love with the whiting fish… onion rings just a touch greasy but edible. Now the wings…. them wings AND fries… ON POINT!!! Always! Hands down they have the best fries in town.. my opinion. Our wings have great flavor and never soggy skin like we have received from other places. Staff is nice and the restaurant is clean. Orders are done pretty fast and they make sure the customer is happy with the order before they leave. Prices are a little cheaper than other wing places. If you want some wings and amazing fries… check this place out. Closed on Sunday though!

Standard wings and seafood menu, just like its competition across the street. New, bright, and clean, friendly staff during my visit. I had honey lemon pepper wings, about average but good. Standard crinkle fries, good portion for the price. One piece of fried whiting, skin on, not very good. Doesn't appear to be any grilled option for fish which is a shame. Sweet tea was superb however, almost worth going back just for that. $11 for that 5wing meal, and I was pretty full although mostly from the fries. I'd come back to try other wing flavors and for the tea.

BTW, I read an earlier review and the response from the owner. While the author probably was rude and her review inaccurate, it's a very bad sign that a brand new franchise owner would insult her and tell her to take her business elsewhere. Even when the customer is wrong, they are right, if you want to develop a solid local reputation.
