Que! Bueno Mexican Bar & Grill

Decided to visit this new restaurant. We sat at the bar and were so glad we did! Alex waited on us and his recommendations were perfect! He makes a tamarind drink that is unique and really good! I had the Birria Tacos (not on the menu) because I'm totally going to judge any new Mexican restaurant based on the birria. 🤣

Glad to add this place to our list of favorites and looking forward to trying other menu items.

We came here on a whim after our local Mexican place was closed. Love the ambiance and decor. The wait staff was super attentive and friendly. My husband had the carnitas with corn tortillas and I have the mixed fajita quesadilla. Both were delicious! The red rice was moist and the refried beans were not straight out of the can. Definitely worth coming to if you’re looking for a local Mexican place.

Food and drink were great. But when you go to a Mexican place that’s not just eye popping inside and not on the higher end of things you don’t necessarily expect to play the prices I did. Roughly $25 a head to eat and have a tea seems a bit high. But the food was good. It so so good to blow your socks off.

We have been here three times now! Absolutely love it. Highly recommend you sit at the bar at least once to get to know the owners Luis and Alex. They decorated the restaurant themselves and it is beautiful. Food is authentic. My husband said they are the best Chili Rellenos he'd had since we've been to Mexico. I agree! The staff is genuinely happy and friendly. 🇲🇽. So happy to have this so near❗👏🤣

Que Bueno is an appropriate name for this new Mexican restaurant, which offers a more upscale experience than the usual TexMex we are used to.

As you can see from the photos, the dishes are beautifully presented and the flavours matched. Most importantly, the service was very attentive and they actually talked to you as a person, rather than rushing in and out.

In less than a year, this strip mall near the Publix on Broad River Rd, has become a hotbed for great cuisine with A Fuego on one end and now Que Bueno on the other!
