The Dog House

Wanted to update my previous review.
I have visited the dog house several more times since I received feedback from my last review. Each time I have been very happy with the service and food. I will continue to order from them as a result. Thank you dog house for reading your customers comments and actually using them to improve your business.

This place used to be one of my favorites. Lately their food has been mediocre at it's best and the service... wow. We went in a couple weeks ago and the owner and one of the ladies working were in an obvious fight and fussing with each other and extremely rude to the customers inside. Today I tried to place a pick up order and was on hold for 5 minutes and then hung up on, I tried calling back and asked if I could place a pick up order and the response was "yea go ahead" in the rudest possible tone one could manage. Needless to say I hung up and called Broncos.

I love this place been eating here 2 years and it keeps getting better. I love the fresh beef cooked to order. My favorite place around. Also the tea is the best.

Love the hot dogs and homemade hamburgers!! We eat there often. The kids love to eat out of the dog food bowls!!

It would be 5 stars but we stood there waiting to be waited on while the guy was playing on his cell phone. He never acknowledged us. Lady from back came up and apologized and waited on us. Food was very good.

This place is just alright. To be honest, I suspect if it were not one of very few restaurants in the area, they would have to try a lot harder. I know the only reason I still patronize the place is because there are not any others this close to my home. The food is pretty decent, with one exception that I have found,and that is if you call in your order, or place it to go, 90% of the time your fries WILL be undercooked. If you want them done properly, you need to request that they be cooked “well-done,” otherwise you are going to end up paying for fries you can’t eat anyhow. That is, unless you happen to enjoy half cooked fries. I don’t understand this, I have worked in the restaurant/hospitality business for many years, and fries are so simple to make. They also don’t do to customers who dine in, so it is happening intentionally, which is even worse. The only thing I can figure is that the cook is rushing the orders out, and just doesn’t care that customers are forking over their hard earned money for undercooked food. Don’t expect an overly friendly welcome when you arrive either, at times I feel like I am bothering the workers just by showing up. My favorite thing about this diner is the tea, but forget about actually getting any after 7pm, they never have any and I have never figured out why.
