Moe's Original BBQ - Spartanburg

After talking about Moe’s with my girlfriend we finally decided to have dinner here. I would say the atmosphere is great and the food just adds to it! Smoked wings, collard greens, pulled pork, and the CORNBREAD was outstanding!!! We are BBQ lovers and we try to find the best BBQ and go try it! Moe’s ti me personally is some of the best I have had! 5 stars for every dish we tried! Also, the beer was super cold! Thanks Moe’s for outstanding food and customer service!

The food was pretty good. The collards came in little 6oz cup partially and had one tiny little semi-circle of sausage, maybe 4 bites but tasty. The mac and cheese was good and a nice portion. The bbq was also a nice portion and had a good flavor but a little on the dry side. I feel like if they are only going to offer one sauce, it should knock your socks off. I enjoyed the cornbread, but it is on the sweet side, like Jiffy, and there's no butter to tame it. Service was great and atmosphere is fine. I'd be happy to go again, but it won't be my pick.

The bbq itself was Excellent. The sauce was well done too. Unfortunately the sides were so over salted they weren’t edible. I took it back up to the counter and they gave me some chili instead. To bad it was a little salty too.

The ribs are fantastic!! I can't wait to try a few more things on the menu. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce but it wasn't bad either. I'm not sure if there were supposed to be other options but I didn't see any. Maybe they'll expand on their options soon. Honestly, the ribs didn't even need sauce.

We went right on the busy lunch hour. However we got our food pretty fast. Their service was impeccable. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich. It was really good. The cashier recommended the baked apple and it did not disappoint. I tried my husband’s potato salad he ordered and that was also very good. I would highly recommend this place. Everyone was super nice and looked happy to be working there.
