This is a one-of-a-kind full-service restaurants with I have the most price to me the benefit of the military man or woman on the Per Diem Basis....... and when it opened in 1972, I am proud to say is that I was there and part of the accounting system that was a first of its kind ever in any military installation in the United States or the world for that matter. The leader ship under Chief Master Sergeant Emerson Williams, Master Sergeant Hadfield, and Master Sergeant Williams was actually a whole new concept in the way the military served in the pricing and the way they paid for their meals. A first of its kind with computerized programming systems of state of the art facility and the best that money can buy to open this facility.I can say looking back it was a privilege and an honor to serve in the United States military and contributing to the success of this extraordinary dining facility.

Standard Air Force dining facility. Coffee machine was broken well past "estimated repair date." Prices charged are maddeningly inconsistent, even when getting the same thing for breakfast each day. Of course, it's a DFAC, so it's still pretty inexpensive. Cooks are nice and helpful, cashiers less so
