Hamptons

Everything here was incredible! The service and staff were very accommodating. We went for our anniversary and had them uncork a special beverage for us. I wish I more pictures, but after these amazing appetizers we devour our meals and split dessert! #1 restaurant in Sumter...this place is a MUST try! The pictures are from Rafters...their bar upstairs. Wonderful bartending service. Their pizza and whiskey sours are delicious ????

Going to Hampton's is a treat for the taste buds, All their dishes are prepared with great care and attention to the diners wants. I especially love it when the have Rack of Lamb on the Menu, you either know how to prepare it right or you don't and Hampton's gets it right in my opinion, you don't need Mint Jelly. We like Rafters to get great drinks, small plates and relaxing conversation. Their wine selection is very comprehensive.

Started off upstairs at the bar with drinks and appetizers. Had the duck confit pizza and it was delicious! We then made our way downstairs past the impressive wine collection to restaurant where our party of eight was waited on with an elevated level of attention! Our waiter was outstanding and the entire table was pleased with both the food and service. The short rib was wonderful as was the ravioli! But the bacon wrapped quail still has my mouth watering! Dinner ended with a visit from the chef and a desire to return... soon!

The atmosphere was lovely and the majority of food my party had was spot-on, very tasty however we had to send two plates back and apparently the chef had an issue with it. I didn’t hear him however the waitress smiled and said she’d remedy the issue and she came back with a very intimidated demeanor and kept apologizing and said the chef wouldn’t change the plate. He cooked the other plate that I said was undercooked and my fish came back still slightly undercooked but the plate was extremely hot which made me wonder if they just threw the plate in the oven. Restaurant was great but it appeared the chef is ill-tempered and god help you if you need to send something back to the kitchen. It’s a shame as I’d like to go back but the awkward experience I feel is not worth another visit.

The staff was awesome! We had a large party that kept going up and down in size and they didn't seem to mind the changes at all!! The food was the best I have eaten in Sumter! Will definitely be going back!!
