Originally overcharged my bank account but when I called the restaurant the manager and owner were very polite and helpful. They immediately refunded the difference.
Small portions for the price, spent over $40 on a boil plate to share with my husband and received one piece of corn and two golf ball sized potatoes. Half the items on the menu were crossed out because they ran out during the lunch rush, so maybe they were trying to spread out their supply of sides.
The owner explained that they are still in a “soft opening” mode and will later have a grand opening after all of the kinks are worked out. Overall, the food taste great and I will try again once they are more established.
Went on Sunday, one of the first in the door when they opened. We were seated immediately, our server was great and helped us understand the menu. Several items were crossed out, and there is not much of a selection available. Ultimately decided to order a seafood boil that comes in the bag. My two biggest complaints were the garlic seasoning is very overwhelming, entirely too much garlic and it completely overtakes the taste of the food. As some other have said, we received one small piece of corn, 2 small potatoes, and a few slivers of sausage. The shrimp and crab legs were a fairly decent portion, but ultimately we paid over fifty dollars for our meal and left without getting full- this could be prevented by adding more to the boil bags. Potatoes, corn, and sausage are not expensive and could really have changed my opinion on the poor value for the money. Other corners that are being cut- the crackers used to crack open crab legs are terrible, invest in some better ones. The crab legs themselves could be better. The shells were somewhat soft, and this was difficult with the cheap crackers. I will give it some time for them to get established before spending so much money with them again.
The food is delicious!!! Not much to choose from on the menu though. They don't have any grilled entrees. I think if they revamped the menu they would definitely be a 5 star and be really successful. Will definitely go back! A lot of food for the price.
