We had the Irish nachos, bangers and mash and the kildare burger. The nachos and burger were very good. The potatoes in the bangers and mash was a bit bland, but overall great meal.
We went to try the shepherd's pie but unfortunately they were out! So we settled for the Kildare Burger and the Irish Stew. Both were very good! And the Southern Poutine was my favorite! They were super busy so service was slow, but they did their best.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Really cool design! Cool trinkets sprinkled throughout. Attached to a brewery and has a large number of outdoor seating options with string lights for night vibes. The service and food was stellar! My table had the southern poutine fries, shepherds pie, truffle fries, and the ham and cheese toastie. All of it was fantastic!
The food was cathartic! It was delicious and tasted like it came out of my grandmum’s kitchen. Our server Amanda was fantastic and very attentive. The owner Murph was lovely. My husband and I had a lovely date night here. The music was nostalgic, fun and not too loud! 10/10 we are excited to come back soon and this is a new date night special place for us. ♥️
It started with a perfectly poured pint, warm and friendly service, and a tremendous atmosphere! The food was exactly what I was hoping for, authentic and delicious. As someone else said I would expect nothing less given the ownership, but the experience was even better than expected. York County has officially become the home of the best Irish Tavern this side of Boston!
