Great small town dining. Indian tacos were wonderful and the salad bar and soups were really good. My wife and I ate for about $20 total! McDonald's cost more than that! Thanks.
Victory Steakhouse & Lounge in Edgemont, SD (population 700+) was a great surprise. I had the 14 oz Victory Ribeye, cooked rare. The dinner came with the soup and salad bar. My side with dinner was the sweet potato fries, cooked extra crispy. All the dinner entrees come with soup and salad bar. My steak was cooked perfectly. Rare. Sweet potato fries were extra crispy. My companion ordered the Black and Blue burger, substiting her fries for the soup and salad bar. The salad bar was adequate with enough selection to create a nice dinner salad. It also had a selection of pre-made items, like pasta salad, cole slaw, etc. The salad bar had two soups, one was a cheese burger chowder. (Not bad. Anything with a cheese soup base is going to be okay.) The second soup was something else - with ground beef, rice, corn, black beans, in a clear broth. It smelled of Mexican spices (cumin and chili powder). We didn't care for the second soup. I took home half my steak to eat with eggs for breakfast the next day.
Quick, kind, attentive service. Food was tasty, especially the sweet potato fries! Decor was fun and unique. Enjoy!
Lady who greeted us was very pleasant and share with us about the towns events today and about the area. The young man during taco/nacho buffet was very prompt at keeping the food available even when larger groups came in while there to memorialize or fundraiser for a 10yr. deceased firefighter.
Very pleasant conversations and food. Respectfully,
Pat, Del and great-grandson Jayden.
Great staff. Love the design.
Food was cooked perfectly and tasty.
One of the orders was wrong, but we had a big group, so understandable. No running water in the men's restroom sink, otherwise this review would be 5 stars.
Bar side and nice restaurant side depending on your desired means of consumption.
