The Steakhouse

Why eat at any place in Wall when The Steakhouse is a short drive east in Philip?
Nicely decorated bar and restaurant, very home and welcoming.
The special was a nice ribeye- $24 instead of $32!
It was great, a very good steak cooked perfect. Small but good salad bar and a very sweet waitress.
Great restaurant in a quaint town, highly recommended.

all the staff and even the owner (I think) were very helpful. being we had never been to the town much less the stake house. oh and I almost forgot about the most important thing, the food was very nice and yummy 🤤

The night we stopped they had a buffet. Woo-wee! All you could eat salad bar, BBQ ribs, hamburger steaks with mushroom gravy, butter/garlic shrimp, carrots and mashed potatoes & gravy. Fresh rolls. The hamburger steaks were handmade. No preprocessed patties! The ribs were perfect. Soft but still some chew. The shrimp were completely peeled & clean. Cooked just right, not rubbery. The salad bar was fresh & plentiful with a nice selection. $14.95 Can you believe that! They even gave you a mint patty with you bill. This place is a must stop. If I get back to SD again, I'd go out of my way to eat here again!

Great spot about 14 miles off of HWY 90 in a small town called Philip. They had a nice bar with lots of seating and a large dining room. It was clean and staff was friendly. They had a good selection of options on the dinner menu with fish, chicken, shrimp, & steak. We shared the Ribeye steak which was thick and cooked perfectly to our request. The loaded potato was yummy and James our server did a great job taking care of us!!
